Donation Information
We love your donations!
Without your donations, we have nothing to sell.
Here are the things we accept (and what we can’t take). Please do NOT leave anything outside our doors. Details are below.
Our list may change from time to time, so feel free to check back before donating.
Our shop is made up entirely of donations. The Book Barn takes donations at the door labeled “Book Donations” and the Bargain Barn takes donations through their front door marked “Bargain Barn” (place donations in the small room on your left, just inside the door).
Donations accepted Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am - 4 pm; Saturdays from 9 am - noon. We ask that you ONLY donate during those hours. Please do not leave anything outside. Due to limited storage capacity, you can bring up to three shopping bags or boxes per donation, once per day. Please, NO black gargbage bags, no big storage boxes, (they’re too heavy — we can’t lift them, and too bulky — we can’t fit them in our donation room) and only donate in bags you don’t need back!

Best of all, all the proceeds are donated to local nonprofit organizations. Books get a second reading … and the community benefits. Win win!
